<p dir="auto">I am not well versed in LDAP systems.</p>
<p dir="auto">I am trying to connect my PaperCut printing server to Cloudron so that all my users can sync over to PaperCut via LDAP. I am having two type of issues.</p>
<p dir="auto">I should note my PaperCut server is on the same local network but not the same hardware &amp; all IPs involved are whitelisted in the external server part of Cloudron.</p>
<p dir="auto">I did try to follow PaperCuts doc however its more geared to AAD than anything else: <a href="https://www.papercut.com/help/manuals/ng-mf/common/sys-user-group-sync-ldap#set-the-sync-options" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">https://www.papercut.com/help/manuals/ng-mf/common/sys-user-group-sync-ldap#set-the-sync-options</a></p>
<p dir="auto">I also tried using <a href="https://docs.cloudron.io/user-management/#directory-server" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">https://docs.cloudron.io/user-management/#directory-server</a> however Im not sure the information I need is in this doc.</p>
<p dir="auto"><em>PaperCut automatically adds the ldaps:// part to the URL so that why its missing in images.</em></p>
<p dir="auto"><strong>Link Type 1: Using my external URL as the server address</strong>.<br />
When i try the external URL I get a "Connection Refused" error.</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1704153416255-15dd4835-397a-4496-b6f7-515da07a5cad-image.png" alt="15dd4835-397a-4496-b6f7-515da07a5cad-image.png" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto"><strong>Link Type 2: Using my Cloudron Server IP as the server address</strong>.<br />
It seems to make a connection to my cloudron server but comes up with "NoSuchObjectERROR". I believe its the config of the Base DN &amp; Admin DN however I am a bit stumpt as I don't know what config for each is correct.</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1704153500302-829a3172-9ecd-46f4-a349-9fe17b1319b9-image.png" alt="829a3172-9ecd-46f4-a349-9fe17b1319b9-image.png" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">Here is how LDAP is configured in PaperCut:</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1704153598842-1f7a2957-de5c-49d0-b56e-0a10938867a0-image-resized.png" alt="1f7a2957-de5c-49d0-b56e-0a10938867a0-image.png" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">I should mention I have tried changing the LDAP server type to AD however the same issues occur.</p>
<p dir="auto">I hope you guys can help me out!</p>
<p dir="auto">Thanks in advance!</p>

I switch to using the local IP &amp; changed the Base DN as you mentioned &amp; it is now pulling in users.</p>

For the actual error, can you double check the Base DN? It should be <code>ou=users,dc=cloudron</code></p>
