is there a way we can easily setup a cloudron instance for a client, run it for a while and then hand it over to a clients own license? Like an agency model?</p>

Otherwise, that client has to become a <a href="http://cloudron.io" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">cloudron.io</a> customer on its own for a subscription.</p>

<p dir="auto">There MUST be a better way. <img src="https://forum.cloudron.io/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f60a.png?v=af5271e93de" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--blush" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="" alt="😊" /></p>

This mostly has to do with how we handle the credit cards and mandates (which is handled via stripe, our payment provider), so those can't be moved.</p>
<p dir="auto">Cloudrons itself can be re-associated with another <a href="http://cloudron.io" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">cloudron.io</a> account, by first deleting the record of that Cloudron in the <a href="http://cloudron.io" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">cloudron.io</a> portal. Then the Cloudron is "free" and once the Cloudron's admin heads over to the settings or appstore view in the dashboard, one is able to use any <a href="http://cloudron.io" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">cloudron.io</a> account to bind the Cloudron to that one. (in your case your clients <a href="http://cloudron.io" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">cloudron.io</a> account)</p>
