An app can use many feature like local storage, csp, display in the ui etc which are domain based and won't work with multiple domains. This is the main reason why multiDomain is an opt-in in the manifest and not turned on by default for all apps.

There is no explicit mention upstream that the app supports this, so not 100% sure if an update does not break it.

(Obviously, people will want to think about this if they want separate tiles and storage for clients, but overall, good to have options to save resources where the separation isn't needed. Plus, there's always the option to create shortcut icons, if just separate tile icons were needed.)

We have released a new package version which has the multiDomain flag set in the manifest.
