It took installing OSTicket to find out FreeScout was causing the issues. Emails send and receive perfectly now. 🫠</p>

I didn't want to create a new topic for this, so i figured I would just bump this.</p>
<p dir="auto">I did see in <a href="https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/7150/mails-plugin-timeout-spamassassin-from-time-to-time?_=1734980290228">2022 that this was being investigated in a support ticket</a>. I am guessing no solutions for this so far? Ive tried to change the DNSBL zones but nothing works. Do we even need spam assassin or can we get rid of it?</p>

I set the receiving encryption in my SMTP settings to SSL instead of None like the directions say. Wow. I should really test more before posting a support request. Bleh.</p>
