Yes we are very slowly rolling out Cloudron 9 now. It should be safe to update. As always make sure to have backups of the whole system. If you are a bit uncertain, it could help to make a server snapshot if your server provider offers this. You can delete the snapshot after the update to save costs.

Also if anything goes wrong, let us know, we are here to help.

@andreasdueren I think perhaps they just slowly roll out alphabetically based on the my. domain - have the servers that have not updated got domains with letters later in the alphabet?

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

@andreasdueren same thing for me - I only get the update on one out of three servers. Luckily, it's the server that I'm looking to have local backups added ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ˜ƒ gonna be a busy weekend!

Had some problems with sftpGo where some kind of โ€žactivationโ€œ didnโ€™t work. After server reboot I could finish the โ€žactivationโ€œ - app was in error mode. Unfortunately forgot to copy the logs for hereโ€ฆ.
Now everything works fine (~20 apps)
              Now: Next two servers ๐Ÿ˜…

IMHO some of the bug reports and user feedbacks above should be in different threads (e.g https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/14359/cloudron-9.0-beta-bug-reports ) so we can keep this one for staff announcements and other general concerns or questions to the staff?

Yes, we currently roll out the release slowly by first character of the dashboard domain, however now a-z but a bit random, so it is isn't always the same Cloudrons getting the versions first.

At the moment the release is only available for those but will not auto-update yet.

                      Is cloudron 9.0.7 stable?
A message before update says it is not.
When the stable release is plan to be released ?

Mostly stable yes, we are still busy fixing small things and the next patch release is just around the corner and after that we likely will start pushing it out slowly for autoupdates as stable.
