<![CDATA[Outbound Mail Relay using Amazon SES response timeout]]>I have followed your instructions on setting up Amazon SES as my outbound mail relay but each time I enter my credentials and press Save I get a "Response timeout" error message.

I have verified my domain and confirmed my account isn't in the Amazon sandbox.

Can you suggest anything else to try?

You can also try if you are able to telnet email-smtp.us-east-qamazonaws.com 587 on your server. Does the connection work?
