<![CDATA[HEIC Files]]>Hello All,

Although I have searched for this issue, all related problems seem to be a few years old so can't really be relevant (I hope anyway! 😉 )

I have Immich installed via Cloudron. The very latest updates to both Cloudron and also Immich. (I've just updated and rebooted VPS - Problem still persists). But if I upload to Immich via WebGUI, or upload via iOS App, I cannot get Apple HEIC files to display. I simply get "error loading image" SCREENSHOTalt text

What I liked about Cloudron, is there's no real messing around with CLI -- So was hoping it would be plain sailing.

Anyone able to help?

Further to this, I just tested - It's fixed! Perfect. Thanks for the quick resolution.

We will see how we can patch some later library version into the package.

Well I was about to upload here and got an error :

"Error
Input file has corrupt header: /tmp/Rsbm41-t9XXotPRbwc5G6grX.HEIC: bad seek to 2795524 heif: Invalid input: Unspecified: Too many auxiliary image references (2.0)"

So this is becoming quite frustrating just to give you a sample file? There's nothing wrong with the photo I'm trying to upload?

I don't have an Apple device to try to play with different settings there to maybe able to reproduce the issue. Are you able to share one such non-working image here so we can reproduce the issue to look into a fix?

Maybe @nebulon knows how to test this.
