<![CDATA[Public share links do not work]]>When creating a public share link using on a document - the link redirects to a login page.

To my understanding a public sharing link is supposed to be read-only by anyone with the link not only users of the outline instance.

Is this a bug or do I need to configure something other than the toggle button in the preference settings?

In order for the public share link to work the entire collection has to be public and viewable by everyone in the workspace it seems

@Operator I think a document that is in Draft state is not viewable publicly yet. So, you have to publish the doc and then it works. Go to the main documents listing page and make sure it doesn't show "Draft" there.

Also there are two settings for this: a global Security -> allow public links (this was enabled by default for me) and another per document when you click the sharing button .
