The fact is, I haven't changed anything, and it was not consuming all this RAM on Cloudron 9.X</p>

For which app does this happen or is this happening with more apps? Overall though of course it could also be that the server simply does not have enough memory left to spare, regarless of the upper limit set.</p>

During a backup the mysql service needs to make a sql dump, which is extra strain on the mysql service and thus increases the memory usage for a brief period. For the moment the only solution would be to increase the memory limit of the service. I guess in the long run we could allow some burst limit during backup.</p>
