For office this means any app which speaks WOPI protocol, while for the others we haven't yet defined which protols those would be in those areas. So those just allow our apps to collaborate.

To give one example, unless there is a standard API to call a webmailer for say to start composing a message to X or listing mails in mailbox Y, the default mail app will not mean much yet.

These new settings don't appear to be documented anywhere.

Also, I want to set Nextcloud as the default Contacts and Calendar apps, but that doesn't appear to be possible. Likewise Meet app options don't show any options to select. And Email only seems to show the Cloudron Mail app and not Roundcube nor Tachyon.
