I have tried to fill in the subdomain column with www but failed to install.
For DNS settings, I have set DNS www. cname to domain address. but still it can't.

I think that was it. I actually first tried just adding www redirect again to my WordPress at https://uniteddiversity.coop and waited a bit before trying it and it works fine. Sorry, should've been more patient in the first place!

Hosting about 15 of them or so, approximately. Using DigitalOcean for DNS records though, not Gandi.

No.

I've got an Unmanaged WordPress at https://uniteddiversity.coop

I tried adding www as a redirect, but nothing was reachable at www.uniteddiversity.coop

So then I tried it the other way around, with the app at www and blank for the redirect. But still nothing was reachable at www

I'm using Gandi LiveDNS. Visiting Gandi to check my DNS it didn't look like any www A records were added.

in such a case, on Cloudron you would setup a redirection instead https://cloudron.io/documentation/apps/#setting-up-redirections

This will allow the app (in this case wordpress) to operate on a single specific domain (either www.example.com or example.com) while being reachable from both.
