So I added a Feature Request for Domain Aliases on Cloudron. WP Multisite won't be the only app that benefits this. Every control panel allows for domain aliases for different reasons and I think this is an important feature.

Correct, if you leave the location field empty, then the top level domain will not be a redirect.

@girish Okay, to clarify (because I still believe I may be misunderstanding), leaving the location field empty (null, blank), every "Redirection" I add in the Cloudron Redirection App settings will actually make Cloudron behave as if x domain is the top level domain for that particular app and there can be multiple?

Correct, if you leave the location field empty, then the top level domain will not be a redirect.

We have not scheduled this feature yet. But if we do, it will only be after Cloudron 6. So, atleast 2-3 months from now.

As I said, I can confirm it works with SUB-directories, but that is not the same as sub-DOMAINS. It's the latter that requires the needed TWEAK because of the internal DNS management in CR 😉
