You could give them the email foo+dailycatpictures@domain.com and that can help with filtering mail. Also, if their database is breached, instead of receiving weird emails addressed to foo@domain.com with all your email, they are sent to foo+dailycatpictures@domain.com and you more quickly can ascertain where the problem is.

Probably some haraka plugin I assume, but @girish would know better if that is even possible.
