  • Accessories, consumables, and components now have proper "add stock" and "remove stock" flows with a ledger.
  • The mile-long "LDAP settings" blade has been retired to a nice pasture. In its place: a four-step Livewire wizard (Connection Auth + Scope Attribute Mapping Sync + Defaults) with a per-step "Test connection" button.
  • Entra/Okta (and possibly others) were rejecting Snipe-IT's SCIM responses for multi-company setups. Not anymore.
  • Users can now request accessories from the requestable-items link, not just assets and asset models.
  • Superusers can now impersonate other users to reproduce a bug report without needing the user's password.
  • When someone leaves the company, one click moves every asset/ accessory/consumable/license assigned to them over to their replacement.
  • Quickscan check-in now accepts either an asset tag OR a serial number.
  • The CSV importer got the same treatment as LDAP: proper wizard flow with column mapping, preview, and clearer error surfacing when a row won't take.
  • Restore actually validates the uploaded archive now, AND takes a safety backup of the current database BEFORE it wipes anything.

  • A Manager user view setting was introduced that allows managers to see the items checked out to their direct reports. This is optionally enabled under Admin Settings > General. We may rework this a little more to make that granular on individual users instead of a global setting, but we're waiting to hear feedback from our users to see if that's needed.
  • We've standardized the common table features (such as print, advanced search, fullscreen, etc) so that all of the table views should now have mostly the same features to improve consistency.
  • We fixed an issue where the SAML XML file would not correctly upload (the workaround was to copy+paste it into the textarea field, but you shouldn't have to do that anymore.)
  • We fixed the permissions on EULAs so that users can now correctly download their own EULAs in their profile area.
  • We added the ability to send an acceptance/declined email notification to the admin who checked the item out.
