I packaged it quickly for testing the volume features coming up with Cloudron 6 - https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/3205/what-s-coming-in-6-0-take-2/22 .

It's marked as unstable at the moment. Just a heads up, I think the app is only easily more useful if you can attach your existing music collection. For now, you can always upload things into /app/data/library using the file manager. Note that anything you put in /app/data is backed up.

Still writing tests though which takes more time than the packaging.

Also @<bdi>msbt</bdi> already finished ampache, so will publish that. LDAP works even!

As a heads up, unlike Navidrome, Koel doesn't support subsonic API. There is an open issue upstream for this - https://github.com/koel/koel/issues/1085

Thanks for the heads up. I was going to give this a spin, but I like that I can connect Navidrome to various Android apps (I'm using Ultrasonic) so don't think I'll bother.

Reading that issue doesn't seem like subsonic API will be coming to Koel anytime soon.

Any chance you could do this with Funkwhale which is also federated, has the possibility to share your music publicly and has the subsonic compatibility?

+1

That sounds like the best of all worlds

Unlike Navidrome, you can upload music, though I am not entirely sure how important this is since I doubt most serious users are going to import music via a web interface.
