<![CDATA[Using AdGuard home on android]]>For the life of me, I can't figure how to get my Android to use AdGuard. On the phone, DNS -> Private DNS -> Select Private DNS Mode. It's not clear what it wants in Private DNS provider hostname. Entering an IP does not work (wants a hostname). And since my Cloudron is in the home network, not sure what I can enter here. Maybe it requires some public DNS server and DoH. Any ideas?

  1. use the DNS changer apps (usually for adblocking), free on FDroid. DNS99 might be the name of one.

  2. xip.io - 10.0.0.1.xip.io resolves to 10.0.0.1

The above is the only UI I can find and it's by name.
