I'm exploring options for setting up a CRM system for our organisation and wanted to know if anyone has any experience of the Espo cloudron software.

it would be good to know positive, negative experiences and how you rate it overall. also I couldn't find how many users it can host? thank you

Generally, I'm a fan. The Advanced pack and VoIP extensions have been good additions and I've not had any issues with the company behind EspoCRM either. Just works, admittedly with a bit of learning curve to administer, perhaps, as has been mentioned, but a lot of that is down to the customizations available. Documentation is only okay for most things, in my opinion. Overall, I'd recommend it

Some may say a downside is that it is not as flashy as some commercial alternatives, but I consider that a positive.

Customisation of the core system is pretty easy, although there are a lot of admin options, which are initially confusing. But only a small learning curve.

I like that it is possible to extend it (eg add new entities).

And there is an API for off-system integration.

I like the email integration, which allows specific inbox folders to be integrated rather than the whole inbox of your main email domain.

I use it for 2 organisations, as 2 separate Cloudron instances
