<![CDATA[Increase the RAM of the demo machine]]>Only 4GB? Is that a joke? Since it is a public instance, a lot of users can install things and it quickly runs out of memory and becomes unresponsive. Just look at the memory usage graph. It goes beyond 4GB at least half of the time. I know that this is only a demo, not for production, but at least it should be usable for testing.

as a follow up, we moved it to Linode now. SSDNodes is a bit too flaky for our needs.

To me this is just proof that their standard service is rubbish and they should be avoided.

If you have to coax them into providing the service they claim to be providing they evidently are not providing said service.

Each to their own I guess but I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

They do have some issues figuring out IO starvation issues, which are obvious. Higher quality support would do them good.

My system was fine for a long while until recently due to IO starvation.

Frankly I had forgotten about this, since it's been ok for so long. Had to relearn that lesson. 😊

It takes forever to unzip docker images. Let's see if the situation improves.

This is anyways positive, since it shows that the demo is used more and more.
