Error: ER_NOT_SUPPORTED_AUTH_MODE: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

Problem with uninstall cleanup?

Simple uninstall and reinstall that failed.

Since you mention that you use the same domain, is it possible that your browser session has left-over session data which confuse the new instance?
