Lets support deploying the LBRY wallet-server, now officially known as the LBRY Hub, on Cloudron.

https://lbry.com/faq/wallet-servers

First, a few distinctions should be made:

LBRY Inc. = the corporation

LBRY = the blockchain

LBRY.com the website hosting the official client to view content on the LBRY blockchain

Odysee.com The new, official website to view content on the LBRY blockchain

LBRY client The official GUI used to upload, download and seed content onto the LBRY blockchain for viewing

Paveloom - A developer who created a Free fork of the official LBRY client, without its blacklist

Madiator - Created a LBRY compliant alternative to Odysee https://madiator.com

LBRY Hub - A tool to help you search and browse content uploaded onto the LBRY blockchain

History
Briefly, Odysee has sprung into being as a replacement for the other Big Media, video hosting companies, with a view of supporting Free Expression. You can upload all sorts of content to Odysee, not just videos, for example, PDFs, images, 3D schematics, etc.

Why would we need a LBRY Hub?

The backend of Odysee is based on the LBRY blockchain which is released as Free Software. What happens if Odysee goes out of business or "turns evil", though?

Odysee.com would no longer be available, so content there would not be visible. (If instead of going out of business, LBRY Inc. started masking content on Odysee, it would also be unavailable there.)

The LBRY client is still available though, as Free Software, so people could view content on the LBRY blockchain using the LBRY client but...

a) If people uploaded content using the odysee.com webpage, that content isn't announced to the blockchain as available from sources other than odysee.com. None of that content would be viewable on the LBRY blockchain

b) LBRY Inc. are likely to be the only people seeding that content using their own LBRY Inc. servers, and if LBRY Inc. is gone, so is the content. (Because who else is seeding it using a client?)

c) If you discover some interesting content on the LBRY blockchain, how do you find a client that is actually seeding that content? You need a LBRY Hub!

I think we need 3 Free tools to use LBRY with Freedom (examples follow):

a) Client
https://github.com/paveloom-f/lbry-desktop/releases

b) Hub
https://lbry.com/faq/wallet-servers

c) Website
https://madiator.com
