That doesn't work, but the link from the clipboard+left-arrow button in the web interface does work.

It seems sending by email is different.

I just tested myself too and this is the link in the email that doesn't work:

It seems the issue is reproducible when I go to the directory through the email invite link:

(I'm using the "Min" browser on Mac for interest, but they all seem to have the issue.)

Was the file perhaps created somewhere else with different permissions or something?

I wonder what would happen if you created a share link for that specific doc?

Actually, the issue I've had is with .xlsx files, if you can add one of those to test please?

You should be able to add one yourself?

But I just created one too for good measure.

Yup, have set "Allow upload and editing" on the folder shared via an email link. That's what made it seem so odd.

Seems to work fine to me.

Just to be sure, you're checking the 'Allow editing and uploading checkbox', before sharing, right?
