<![CDATA[Notifications on success/failure/pending]]>Today I realized that my MinIO was not updated for a year now.
I understand there were breaking changes (in separating the console & API), but I don't believe I was ever notified about that update pending in the notifications.

Another sub-question - is there any way to get notified via webhook and/or e-mail, so that I could be triggered when something needs to happen, as opposed to check everything on my own?

It would be nice if you could start with a webhook or script execution with pre-populated variables on execution - that would let us extend functionality endlessly.

And things like update or reboot pending is not just a notification - it's usually a security threat...

imho this should obviously be a configurable setting: some people want/ need notifications about everything, others don't want any, both (and everything in between) are valid.

For the moment I will add specific notifications for when apps are not auto-updated due to for example major version changes.
