<p dir="auto">It would be good if admins were able to control this list.</p>

<p dir="auto">Generally we have decided to use the .env configuration for the instance, as that is the documented way, compared to using .yml</p>
<p dir="auto">I also wonder if this is just not implemented upstream yet, but according to <a href="https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/blob/main/config/settings.yml#L1" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/blob/main/config/settings.yml#L1</a> the admin UI should eventually have that setting exposed.</p>
