I just noticed that the recommended PHP version is v8.2 while it runs with PHP v8.1 currently. How to change this? See https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/stable/admin_manual/installation/system_requirements.html#server.

Also some Nextcloud plugins require at least 8.2 in the meantime.
So both for security reasons and support reasons it's recommended to have at least v8.2.

It looks like they ship PHP 8.1 with their own docker while they recommend PHP 8.2. That's a bit weird.

FWIW, Ubuntu 22.04 comes with PHP 8.1 by default (which is also the recommended installation OS). I think it's quite unlikely nextcloud will break support for the default PHP ...

I think using 8.1 vs 8.2 is mostly cosmetic. 8.1 will be supported till november.
