<p dir="auto">irb(main):001:0&gt; u = User.find_by_username("root")</p>
<p dir="auto">I am getting this:<br />
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `main'</p>
<p dir="auto">what should I do differently?</p>

Now everything works and my email has been changed successfully, thank you very much!</p>

<p dir="auto">So you're likely already done with that step.</p>
