… on mobile devices, because of the sticky header.
Can you can take this up upstream? They are usually quite responsive in their community forum - https://community.nodebb.org . I think your point about the mobile screen space being drastically reduced is quite valid. You can see same behavior in their forum as well on mobile.
Yeah, I threw some feature requests in their Github (like increasing the size of the upvote button on mobile so you can actually hit it) and I think they already committed code to fix it. So I'm sure they'd do the same for your suggestion, since it's a good user preference to have.
@atrilahiji Also, some browsers are a bit ... aggressive with their caching policies. You may want to force-refresh (ctrl/cmd + shift + R in most browsers), maybe even a few times, before anything else, just to check it wasn't just cache
@murgero HAH! Oddly enough making my script specifically cd into the backend directory and running the server.js there instead of running server.js from outside that directory did it. Unsure why. Works now and I have 0.1.1 of my app released and 0.1.0 of the cloudron integration. Thanks guys!
@robi oh I figured for static hosting it’s an alternative. Until we get something like openfaas on cloudron, Netlify is a good option. But for a static site with some dynamic content surfer + a headless cms works well and doesn’t require making a netlify account. You also have to pay to use a self hosted GitLab, which to me is already a minus on the side of netlify. Not saying it’s bad. Just that I personally don’t want to use it unless I can use my own GitLab. And even then I prefer the static hosting to be on my own server.
I do know their cloud functions are AWS lambda functions so I figured their hosting would just be S3 + Cloudfront or something
Either way this has greatly diverged from the original question I was asking.
