Want to leave feedly and co. But in Feedly I can follow twitter accounts.

I am Head of the service desk in a software company in Germany and responsible for data protection issues. My roots lie in activities as system administrator and consultant for LAN / WAN topics.

Privately I am interested in IT topics and data economy also and try to free myself more and more from the data kraken.
I am certified as CCNA, MCSA (Server and Desktop), SLCA, ACSP, ACTC, SLCA and plan to become more of an admin in the future again, towards Linux Graduate and Kubernetes. Especially regarding the new European program Gaia-X and the growing possibilities it offers, this seems to be future-proof.

Can you please settle this among yourselves with direct messages? The topic here is "WriteFreely" as an app request.

Under Notifications sometimes a reboot of the server is suggested. The reason is security updates.

It would be nice to schedule the reboot for a specific time.

So it makes absolutely sense to host it yourself with cloudron.

I switched from other panels to Cloudron. I never regret. Server updates are managed and setting up the e-mail is guided very well. Furthermore, I find the dashboard more clearly arranged. To make it short: there is no need to use Servers terminal or another panel.

@nebulon Are there any plans to provide openHAB? Seems to be dockerized

@scooke I wait until Cloudron Version 6 is released, where Ubuntu 20.04 is supported. Then I will move to Contabo. A lot of the memebers here trust in them.

I wrote with them just to clarify the possibilities to upload pics from mobile (Android / IOS). Here is the answer:

The only thing what keeps me with Google is photos. An alternative solution should be interoperate with an IOS or Android phone. Is there any client?
