@nebulon @girish and @nebulon I know you two are so busy and so I apologise for not following up on this. I eventually was able to resolve this matter, though how remains a bit of a mystery but I think I just had to wait for the state to reset on its own.

Anywho, sorry for not getting back to you on this.

The code is used while subscribing and once the payment succeeds the credits are applied.

cloudron.io - this is Cloudron's website (the company)

console.cloudron.io - this is the place where Cloudron's customers login to manage billing. you cannot manage apps or anything of that sort here

yourdomain.com - this is the domain you gave when you installed Cloudron, the software, on your server. IMPORTANT: cloudron the company has no access to your servers. Cloudron the software is entirely selfhosted and only you have access to the server.

my.yourdomain.com - this is your server's dashboard. this is where you manage apps and other things

my.cloudron.io - this is actually Cloudron the company's, cloudron installation. you should not (and cannot) login here!

With this in mind:

When attempting to login us assigned IP it would redirect to my.cloudron.io.

this cannot ever happen.

how would I reach login when IP Changed/DNS is not available

If IP changes, go to your DNS and then just change the IP address of my.yourdomain.com manually to the new IP. Are you talking about dynamic IP here? If so, use the Dynamic DNS feature. It will automatically update the DNS with a changing IP.

Finally, if DNS itself is not available, I guess you have to use /etc/hosts . See also - https://docs.cloudron.io/troubleshooting/#unreachable-dashboard

@girish Sorry for the delayed response. My server is also hosted in Singapore (by Hostinger). I've noted a couple of seconds delay to open Cloudron's app store but it is definitively back. Thank you again for the support 🙂 !

@gog122 you can login at https://console.cloudron.io/#/login and cancel it there.

@humptydumpty I think it was a bug or something as I uninstalled the app and tried to reinstall it and it failed.

For reference I have the Vaultwarden and Gitea installed. The 3rd app was Firefly.

Just to clarify, the account on your server itself, where Cloudron is installed, is NOT the same as the appstore account from cloudron.io

Attempting to get a password reset yielded no results, however the create account at the homepage is working so there is that. I wonder why it wouldn't let me create the account in the setup? Either way, I think I will be able to move forward. Thank you again!

@VictorMC26 There are two totally separate accounts.

One is to access your server's dashboard to install and manage apps. This is via my.domain.com . The account you have here is local to your server. The other is cloudron.io account. This lets you manage billing/subscription. The screenshot you posted appears in the 'App Store' view in your server's dashboard on first time use. It is asking for this account's password. If you don't have one, you have to sign up. Once signed up, you can use the My Account link on the top right at https://www.cloudron.io/ to manage billing/invoices.

Indeed, I have been noticing this as well. Our appstore server is a bit loaded now with so many cloudron installations out there. Time to add some caching.

That status page now also takes app with OpenID integration into account.

On the subject of OIDC, there are several that could be flagged as supporting SSO with little or no extra effort:

So, the flag in the status page indicates not if the app could be integrated, but if the Cloudron package takes care of the integration automatically.

Hopefully since we have OpenID support now, as you mention, we can add more to that list soon 🙂

Right, you need to figure why unbound is not starting. The logs are in journalctl -u unbound -fa . Note that if unbound doesn't work, DNS doesnt work properly on the server and makes this quite unstable (as you experienced already).

@inane It seems on some networks, our internal DNS resolver (unbound) does not work. It's not clear why. Is yours a private network or some public VPS provider ?
