Hello,
I’m looking for a Linux/DevOps freelancer to help resolve a critical disk-space issue on my Hetzner VPS running Cloudron (with two apps: n8n and Cal.com). Right now, the root filesystem (40 GB) is consistently filling up—recently I cleared several gigabytes of logs, but that’s only a temporary fix. We need a long-term solution to prevent storage exhaustion and ensure reliable uptime.
Scope of work:
- Disk resize & data migration
- Safely increase storage from 40 GB to 80 GB (or add a secondary volume)
- Migrate /var/lib/docker (containers, volumes, overlays) onto the new, larger disk without data loss (to be confirmed)
- Automated log management
- Configure Docker and system log rotation/purging (e.g. logrotate, Docker daemon options)
- Archive or compress old logs as needed
- Verification & documentation
- Validate that Cloudron, n8n, and Cal.com start cleanly and operate normally after migration
- Provide a brief step-by-step guide or script for future maintenance and log cleanup
Requirements:
Proven experience with Linux servers, Docker storage management, and volume migrations
Familiarity with Hetzner VPS or similar environments
Knowledge of Cloudron architecture is a plus
Clear communication and concise documentation
Thank you!
Morgan
