SOLUTION: Yes, Vaultwarden can do it! You can do it in your browser extension, for example.

Some sites offer to help security with 2FA. You need a generator on your device. Can Vaultwarden manage this? It can generate passwords, but I don't think it looks like it can generate if given a Qr Code image or code.

It looks like another application will be needed. Can somebody suggest a Free Software alternative to Google Generator that can manage this? KeyPass can do it, so I thought Vaultwarden might be capable, too.

      can i use vaultwarden/bitwarden to generate Time-based One-Time Password

Yes, you can use both Vaultwarden and Bitwarden to generate Time-based One-Time Passwords (TOTP) for use in two-factor authentication . Bitwarden supports TOTP generation natively, while Vaultwarden can use plugins like the TOTP plugin to generate TOTP secrets. Both Vaultwarden and Bitwarden have the ability to store and manage TOTP secrets as well. Once you have generated the TOTP secret, you can use it with a TOTP authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy to generate the one-time passwords.

Also, the browser plugin for bitwarden/vaultwarden has this option in the settings:
