      For some reason my Desktop client for Vikunja now logs into the web app. Previously I, and others, were stymied by some problem stopping the desktop client from working.

      The version is 0.14.0.0, with the latest Cloudron Vikunja. I don't know why it works now, but it does!

      EDIT: I just downloaded 0.17.0.0 and it also works. I would add that the GUI changed a little and I find 17 less appealing than 14 (I won't bother checking out 15 and 16) - it's become more minimal and sparse. That usually appeals to me but I have used color-coding alot in the app and so it doesn't stand out as much.

      But hey! It works!!

        0.14.0 is a pretty old version. The frontend and the api are only guaranteed to work if they are the same version - current latest cloudron is 0.17.0, so you should use the frontend in that version as well.

          @kolaente FWIW I tried and tested every combination, and it didn't work. Plenty of others with the same experience. Now, it is. I really like the mindset behind this app, so I hope it keeps working and doesn't suddenly stop working.

            @scooke That sounds a lot like a bug - if it happens again, could you ping me so that I can try to reproduce it?
