Mattermost non-Google Android client ?

Installed mattermost from Cloudron store, working nicely.
I'm looking for a client "off-Playstore" for use on my privacy-first de-googled pixel4.
Seems a good candidate for F-Droid but the one there is 3 years old and in maintenance only.
Any thoughts on suitable candidate ?

Edit: Their github has apks, idk if they are "degoggled" tho. I'd imagine they work without google framework though.
