Minecraft crashing v1.7.3-1 - Encountered an unexpected exception

Solution/TLDR: Remove all .json files and restart the app

Welp!

Not sure why but it keeps crashing hard and refuses to honour the memory setting.

Is the logfile you sent there the same as /app/data/./crash-reports/crash-2023-02-01_16.48.51-server.txt ?

Also I am not sure if this is memory related seems more like an actual bug. Have you made any adjustments to the config inside the app?

I did not modify anything apart from bumping up the memory. The kids inform me that the server was unreachable for a while and I only now realise something is up

So I found https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-249702?attachmentOrder=asc and it seems to be an upstream issue, but related to banned-ips.json have you set this?

@nebulon thanks. I have not set it, no.

I tried removing the file and restarted but it crashed again. So I deleted all the .json files and it now works
