    Solution/TLDR: Remove all .json files and restart the app

    Welp! 😢

    Not sure why but it keeps crashing hard and refuses to honour the memory setting.

    Feb 01 16:47:40 [16:47:40] [Server thread/ERROR]: Encountered an unexpected exception
    Feb 01 16:47:40 java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "com.google.gson.JsonArray.iterator()" because "$$1" is null

      Is the logfile you sent there the same as /app/data/./crash-reports/crash-2023-02-01_16.48.51-server.txt ?

      Also I am not sure if this is memory related seems more like an actual bug. Have you made any adjustments to the config inside the app?

        @nebulon here's the log: https://wetransfer.bebraver.to/f.php?h=26pVFRxc

        I did not modify anything apart from bumping up the memory. The kids inform me that the server was unreachable for a while and I only now realise something is up 😕

          So I found https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-249702?attachmentOrder=asc and it seems to be an upstream issue, but related to banned-ips.json have you set this?

            @nebulon thanks. I have not set it, no.

            I tried removing the file and restarted but it crashed again. So I deleted all the .json files and it now works 😄
