  • Subdomain configuration for Multisite WordPress Installation
    O omer

    Hi,

I've successfully completed the Multisite WordPress installation using this tutorial. I've chosen the subdomain option (x.site.com)

I'm able to add new sites from WordPress dashboard but on opening the new site (x.site.com), I get 404 Not Found.
I know this is because of the Wildcard domain setting which I'm not sure If I've done it right or not.

My domain is registered on Namecheap.
I'm using VPS hosting from Hetzner.

While adding the domain in the cloudron, I've used the Wildcard option and added a DNS A record with name *.example.com pointing to my server's IP.

    Isn't this enough?

What I need to do so that x.site.com starts pointing towards the multisite which I created in the WordPress dashboard.
