    A few apps I use on other servers, using other software (tipi, easypanel), but for various reasons I'd love to move them to Cloudron. Obsidian LiveSync is one: https://github.com/vrtmrz/self-hosted-livesync-server.

    My main note app is Joplin, and I use the Joplin Server on Cloudron. But I do use Obsidian here and there, and this SyncServer would be useful.

    Please?

      I use Obsidian a lot and the amazing extensions available to capture information and it's the best product I've ever used for non linear, note management. Between that and my remarkable tablet I feel I've got the world in my hands but I really would love to have an opportunity to store on a self hosted environment, just in case.

      I know it's not on the roadmap for Obsidian and they provide such a great product that I get it, but if there was a way to connect and backup my data to a private cloud, that would be AMAZING.

        You can backup to a private cloud with Obsidian Git plugin or Syncthing (not a plugin, but available on any machine and even on Cloudron) already πŸ™‚ , I do it for years and because I also sync many other things with Syncthing, I feel I do not need a specific app for Obsidian sync. Just Syncthing works well for tons of stuff like even replace Dropbox to sync GBs worth of Video/Pics/Music/Docs..., etc.
        Once you give Syncthing (which is free) a try, you won't need much of any other sync app πŸ™‚

          @SansGuidon Does that work on mobile phones, in particular iOS?

          EDIT: Yes, with some effort: https://forum.obsidian.md/t/sync-mac-pc-and-ios-using-syncthing-mobius-sync/72022/19

            @necrevistonnezr I don't have iOS so I can only forward to https://www.macobserver.com/tips/how-to/how-to-use-syncthing-ios/
            as a complement to your link, hopefully there is a way. I should give that a try.

              I use the Remotely Save plugin with Obsidian to sync using Backblaze B2. Works fine on both Windows and Android.
              I paid for a year of Obsidian Sync but I prefer the solution with my own Backblaze account.
              I'd love to try a Cloudron instance of the livesync server!!

                On iOS / macOS, you can just use iCloud, of course. It’s baked in.
