Make the forum search public?

Hello,
I was checking cloudron topics in reddit and discovered that it's not possible to search in the forum without an account.

So that seem to add to the pains of some user, and I'm feeling the curiosity to understand what could be a reason not to the forum search more public ? This would ease self help for users. Also it's technically possible as I see the official NodeBB demo forum has also a public search.

Thanks for raising this here also, I have replied on reddit now also. We will look into whats happening there

Alright guest search is enabled. Given that the search visibility setting by now has moved to user privileges, maybe some nodebb update expected to adjust this accordingly....
