My server vps stopped on Contabo two days ago !

Two days ago and suddenly I find that my server has been stopped since 12 o'clock after midnight on 4/1/2025 and until the moment it is stopped. I messaged support and it was their response :

We have recently faced technical difficulties on the host server system where your VPS is located, which our systems unfortunately could not resolve independently. Since our monitoring systems alerted us anyway, our technical department started investigating and rectifying the situation without delay. As we are unable to give you an estimated time of resolution, we kindly ask you for your patience until this problem is resolved.

This seems like something only Contabo can solve. Regarding the backups, are you saying your Cloudron wasn't setup to do backups or only backups to the server's disk itself? If you have setup any external backup destination with Cloudron, you can also restore the whole Cloudron to another server following our docs at https://docs.cloudron.io/backups/#restore-cloudron

- DO use Cloudron
- DON'T use Contabo
