You mean links here in the forum? or?
The forum supports Markdown.
If you mean the forum, you make links like this:
[link text](link url)
So, for example:
[my linkstack](https://ud.coop/jdaviescoates)
Becomes:
BTW, the same think works in signatures too (and the correct spelling is "folks" )

@adison Ahahah - great signature! If you just use normal https:// links, they just auto-convert to clickable. I made my signature before the character limit was reduced, so can't change it now without losing characters to play with, but my personal website link is my most recent site, that's using the KadenceWP theme.

@marcusquinn hmm.
ya know, i'm intraged by your experties.
i should make you an admin of my cloudron instence. -
@adison I think for now, since it would be correct to have an agreement in place for any Admin access and responsibilities, you are already well covered there with Cloudron's
direct support. They will look after you just fine for any questions, needs, or recommendations on that setup.WordPress will be less sensitive data, and I am Data Protection registered and obligated, so I'd be happy to offer complimentary help there, if you needed.

just a note to everyone.
if you are unable to access the website, thats because the billing admin supposed to help me fund the server is doing, pretty mutch nothing.
i don't know where he is, but i'm gonna try to get in contact with him, considering if he stops funding the project, i don't have mutch funding.
patreon won't work either, as werll, its banking applications are not very accessible. he's my businesses co-founder, and he's supposed to be the CFO. -
@adison I'm sure lots of hosts could benefit from your accessibility testing, and perhaps writing a guest blog on how you found it, in exchange for some free credits. @jdaviescoates Is good at finding good hosts, and may have some ideas.

@marcusquinn if you guys have saved the referral link anyware, i could still find the referral.
as well, if i have to use a new server, luckily, i still have my cloudron backups saved to cloudflare. -
@marcusquinn i mainly use AWS because its got a good firewall.
-
@adison here is my Hetzner referral link which should give you ā¬20 of cloud credits if you wanna give them a try: you can set-up servers instantly and they charge by the hour so not much to loose: https://ud.coop/vps
And FYI here are their docs about creating a Firewall too if you want to do that https://docs.hetzner.com/cloud/firewalls/getting-started/creating-a-firewall/

@jdaviescoates ok but my only worry is that, well i have2, but my main worry is that there was important info on the server, sutch as API keys, passwords and 2FA tokens.
and how mutch would they normally cost? my expectations are around 16gigs of ram, and at least 200GB of storage -

That is indeed a worry. But where exactly was all that? If it was all in Cloudron and you have a Cloudron backup you should be able to restore and retrieve it all?

Hetzner are pretty good value.
They have various options. If you're looking for 16 GB RAM your 3 options would be:
CX41
Shared vCPU 4 Intel
RAM 16 GB
Disk space 160 GB
Traffic 20 TB
ā¬ 0.0343 / hr ā¬ 20.88 / mtl.CPX41
Shared vCPU 8 AMD
RAM 16 GB
Disk space 240 GB
Traffic 20 TB
ā¬ 0.0500 / hr ā¬ 30.24 / mtl.CCX23
Dedicated vCPU 4 AMD
RAM 16 GB
Disk space 160 GB
Traffic 20 TB
ā¬ 0.0470 / hr ā¬ 29.38 / mtl.So if you really do need at least 200GB of storage it looks like the CPX41 would be the one to go for. Alternatively you could go for one of the others and buy and attach what they call a volume which cost ā¬ 0.0528 / GB per month (so eg. 50GB is ā¬ 2.64/ month or 100GB is ā¬ 5.28/ month)
-
@jdaviescoates might try shared. its not 200GB but its close to it at least.

@marcusquinn yes i have backups saved
