As the title says. For weeks now this particular Minio just won't finish uploading its backup. Before, it was to another Minio, but it never finished. Somehow I got that whole process to stop (I restarted the entire Cloudron several times), but for about 2 weeks now I thought "I should have at least one backup"... but it never finished. I even moved the destination to a local directory... it never finishes. It doesn't even seem to hang,.. it just never finishes. Like, let it run for 5 days straight. The Minio only has about 500GB on a 2TB Cloudron install (it's the only app, too).

So, what ommands can I run to just get this thing to stop, so that I can just let it run while I figure out another option (this is the Minio backup for my other MAIN Cloudron, but if I can't trust it to update, etc., then my other MAIN Cloudron's backups are in limbo). Thank you.

So you still see backup logs happening? If that is the case then maybe there are so many files that it just takes that long? From your description of the issue, there is little info for us to guess what the issue might be.

For the stopping of the backup, can't you hit the task cancel button for that app task? I am bit confused why a reboot of the server is required here but maybe I don't quite understand where you are in what update/backup process.

Hitting the task cancel button usually results in a hung app (for any app which has had similar issues in the past). I suppose that is "success", but then it takes forever to get it running again. That normally requires me to just reboot the server (ypically from the Cloudron dashboard, but sometimes I do it from the cli in a ssh session to the server. Sometimes the app never restarts and I restore from a backup. BUT, in this case, I don't even have a backup since it has never completed.

Sadly, I've restarted everything on the server in question, so helpful logs. The Minio is running, and I managed to update it --without a backup, and that seems to be working as my MAIN Cloudron is backing up to it (I just updated Matrix on it).
