I couldn't find any recommendations on here so here's what I ended up using. They've been working great for me. Playlists are syncing properly between all the apps (webui, ios, and windows).

Do you also have a recommendation to update the metadata on the songs automatically? Like artist etc

@nottheend I sure do! https://picard.musicbrainz.org/ My experience with it is still limited, but it did the job. I was also able to grab the album cover art too. I use Open Video Downloader to get stuff off of YT. You can select if you want audio or video only, or both and specify the quality too. https://github.com/StefanLobbenmeier/youtube-dl-gui

And I sometimes use various userscripts for music brainz to import meta data from Bandcamp or Discogs into music brainz when they don't already have it https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Guides/Userscripts

I mostly use yt-dlp to download stuff from YouTube and also from Bandcamp and SoundCloud etc too.
