Cloudron forum links linking to other forum posts - permalinks don't create references, full links do

I've noticed that if you click on a post and copy it's permalink to get a link like this:

https://forum.cloudron.io/post/100505

And then share that link in another post, the original post does not get a link back "user x reference this post x seconds ago"

But if you use the full link to the exact same post, the reference works:

https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/13072/gmail-ipv6-anyone-else-with-this-experience/22

@staff is there anyway you can make the permalink links work too? (or is this just the way nodebb works?)

Right, I have noticed the same. Think it's a nodebb thing
