Forum Login with Cloudron.io

Hello Cloudron Community

We have made Cloudron.io an OpenID provider.
Now you can use Log in with Cloudron.io or Register with Cloudron.io in the Cloudron forum.

Account Linking Requirement - Mail Address

To automatically link your Cloudron.io account to your existing forum account you will need to use the same mail address in the forum and in Cloudron.io.
If you do not use the same, a new forum account will be created.

A good example:
If my forum mail address is james@cloudron.dev and my Cloudron.io account also uses james@cloudron.dev the account will be linked, and I will be logged into the james account in the forum.

A bad example:
If my forum mail address is james.smith@cloudron.dev and my Cloudron.io account uses james@cloudron.dev a new forum account will be created.

Benefits of using Login with Cloudron.io

The Cloudron Team can see your Cloudron.io account details and Cloudron instance details in the forum.
With this information we can evaluate issues you report much more efficient and give you an even better support experience.
