    To enable completely self hosted Mattermost experience, this service (https://developers.mattermost.com/contribute/mobile/push-notifications/service/ ) is a must.

    It’s rarely updated and have ready to use Docker image on Dockerhub.

    It doesn’t include mobile part, which has to be handled automatically, but pretty much well documented.

      @potemkin_ai I'm actively looking for a Rocketchat alternative at the moment.

      For me this is the one missing piece of Mattermost

          @jdaviescoates Yes, it also lacks SSO.

          I'm considering their $250/ 3year 'Pro' edition. A pragmatic compromise on FOSS principles..

                Where does one find the 3 year pricing options?

                  @jdaviescoates Ah sorry I was unclear, this is the non-profit programme: https://docs.mattermost.com/about/subscription.html#mattermost-nonprofit-license-program won't apply to many of you here.

                  1000 users for three years.

                    @Sam_uk yeah, not really 🙂
                    The commercial offering is not so good and they made it even tougher last year and salesmen were silently ignoring questions: didn't you just increase the price by 20-30%? Why so?
