    Hi.
    I need to edit a few files in the /app/code folder, to make some modifications that won't be fixed until the next release.

    (See: https://discord.com/channels/513770643947257862/513771577142280214/1077141707361091594)

    Is this possible?

      @shrey Can you copy/paste what was said in that discord? I wasn't able to view it atleast (maybe I need to join some channel).

      But overall, editing code is not possible in the app since we deploy apps as readonly (but depends on what the change is). A workaround is to install the app into the LAMP app and there you can change code. But of course you have to manage updates yourself .

        @girish This is the message:

        For now you can modify the application/views/emails/*.php and add your fields. Also edit the /engine/Notifications/Email.php to assign those template variables

          I see. Is the change already committed to GitHub? Maybe we can publish the package patched with the change.

            nope. I thinks it's going to take time.
            I'll just have to redeploy it on a Lamp stack, until then.
