Personal Management Apps
-
Hello All,
Is anyone aware of any types of personal management apps or a dashboard, that could pull in data from say other apps hosted on Cloudron? An example is Personal Management System, but seems that it's no longer actively developed. I'd be open to some sort of dashboard-based app that I could use and pull in data from say Google Calendars, Nextcloud (files), Contacts, Tasks / Scheduling, and similar types of data.Thank you!

I'd guess you could use any of the various dashboard / home page/ start page type apps that are out there to do such things, no? Things like Heimdall etc https://github.com/linuxserver/Heimdall

@jdaviescoates Yeah, I had taken a look at that - but kind of looking at an app that contains "modules" similar to the Personal Management System app (Ex: Tasks, Calendars, Contacts, Scheduling, etc.)

One solution I've come across is Organizr. Organizr is fantastic because it offers a customizable dashboard where I can organize my media, files, calendars, and more, all within one interface. While it's primarily geared towards media management, its plugin support allows for integration with other services. To integrate data from Google Calendars, Nextcloud, and other sources, I'm planning to explore Organizr's plugin ecosystem or possibly develop custom integrations using its API. It seems like a versatile solution that can unify my data into a single, manageable interface.
Another option I'm considering is Grafana. Even though Grafana is typically used for monitoring, it supports data sources from various services and databases, including Google Calendar and Nextcloud. Its visualization capabilities are impressive, and I'm intrigued by the possibility of creating custom dashboards tailored to my specific needs.
Alternatively, I might delve into creating a custom solution using Node-RED. With its visual programming interface, Node-RED offers a hands-on approach to connecting different APIs and services. Building a personalized dashboard with data from Google Calendars, Nextcloud, and other sources seems like an exciting project to undertake.
I hope this gives you some ideas for finding the right solution for your personal management needs! -
@sofiawagner Thank you so much, I will take a look through that!

@JLX89 Seriously, looking at personal management system I think the thing that is the nearest app would be AnyType it's open source and can be modified to your licking, however comes with a great deal of templates and a ready to use structure. Reminds a lot of how Notion works. Also, there's been a few discussion about AnyType here on the forum, a simple search is revealing.
