  • Running a version older than 1.0?

I'd like to host a server for the beta version of Minecraft (b1.7.3 exactly) but I'm not too sure if it's possible or how I'd go about doing that.

There was a previous post saying you could change the Cloudron app version to accomplish this, but it seems to only go back as far as the initial release of Minecraft.

I've found the beta 1.7.3 server .jar file online, so I'm trying to host that if possible.

Is there a way I could upload the server files for an older edition and have that be hosted? I am pretty new to operating a lot of this so apologies in advance if this is a silly question. Thank you for your time.
