@girish You are correct... however on all my test installs the NextCloud users also show up automatically as Contacts so that for example you can chat using NextCloud Talk with fellow Nextcloud users. Here are two screenshots of different NextCloud installs on Cloudron... one shows Users as contacts... the other does not show Any users as contacts.

I've looked for a way to reset the contacts... I've tried adding/removing users to see if they would then be added to contacts... but no success so far.


On one of our NextCloud instances with 32 users we're seeing an issue where User Accounts work for login, but when we go to access a list of users in Contacts or in NextCloud Talk it finds no users at all. The message says "No contacts found".

If I run occ user:report I see a report stating that there are 32 user accounts. If I run occ user:report it lists all the users successfully. If I add a test contact manually using the Contact App that contact does show up in search, but no existing NextCloud users do.

Is there a way to check the database? Is there a way to repair or reset it? I've tried occ maintenance:repair to no avail.

Other Nextcloud test instances are working fine.

It would be helpful to users to include the link to the Admin Interface in the First Time Setup or Documentation page.

For those that didn't locate it, the admin link is [domain]/admin.php

Hello... if I install a new NextCloud App in Cloudron it installs 18.0.1 but my existing Apps are still stuck on 18.0.0... they don't show that an update is available even if I click on "Check for Updates".

Is this normal (ie are updates delayed for stability) or should we be able to upgrade our 18.0.0 to 18.0.1? If so, how?
