I'm curious about others' experiences: Do you use Collabora via Nextcloud's internal app, or via an external Cloudron app?

I have been using the former, and it works at first, but after some usage it starts getting this error:

    Document loading failed

Failed to load Nextcloud Office - please try again later

Is there a reason we should be using the external Cloudron app?

I like the idea of keeping Nextcloud and Collabora in one place through the Nextcloud app, but if there's a good reason to do so, I could go back to using Collabora in the Cloudron app.

I don't use either, I use an external OnlyOffice Cloudron app.

But I'm pretty sure using the Cloudron app is the better option / more powerful option. The built-in CODE app fine for light personal use, but it’s known to be limited and can get unstable after a while (hence the “Document loading failed” error). Running Collabora as a separate Cloudron app is generally more reliable – it has its own resources, updates, and logs, so it scales better for multi-user or regular collaborative editing. If you do more than occasional edits, switching to the external app is the recommended approach.

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

Okay, thanks! Just switched to the Cloudron app, and it is working nicely so far.
