@ekevu123 Thanks for this fine piece of software and your dedication towards it! Also thank you for making it available via Cloudron.
Here a couple of things that would help me a lot:
- Add an option to add multi-language support for meeting type name and description (which is then controlled by the global language setting on the user side)
- Give the user the option to choose between several meeting options when booking: In-Person, Video Call Solution A, Video Call Solution B, etc. Let's say I want to offer two video call options to my clients so they choose based on their needs - either MS Teams because maybe they already have a Teams account and it integrates nicely into their workflow or for the more data-privacy aware clients Opentalk. That would put them in charge with which meeting platform they want to share their data with.
- Regarding the In-Person option above: That would then also need a location that I could enter, like an office address.
- And, for me personally a highlight would be, integration with Opentalk: https://docs.opentalk.eu/26.2/user/en/technical-documentation/rest-api/

Thank you, I'll take these! I have just finished a series of bug fixes and maintenance upgrades. The next feature update should concern video integration, so I will also see if Opentalk can be integrated.

Correct, that should work!
Also, you can now manage environment variables directly in Cloudron.

Thanks for this.
What is the approach on this? Is the cloudron package supposed to create a env file on install?
Is there more info somewhere about this? I could not find any in the cloudron package doc. Many thanks

@ekevu123 First quick test: It works like a charm. Cancellations, rescheduling … Next, I’ll take a closer look at the edge cases (what happens when there are no spots left, reminder mail to all participants …).
Two questions about this feature:
-
Why is the number of available spots displayed? (or why to deal with spots?) In my use case (regular webinars), that’s not important to participants. It also reveals something I’d rather keep from the public (nobody’s interested in my webinar - so the maximum number of participants is shown for every session).

-
Do you have a workflow in mind for configuring this “special event” (say, a monthly online meetup - every second Friday of the month from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.) without adding sessions to a calendar just to show the available spots for the online meetup?

You are right, I'll turn this into a traffic light system and probably make even that optional.

I can't really follow here, can you elaborate?

@ekevu123 As I understand the app configuration, there are various “places” where available times for an appointment can be displayed (which affects the possible time slots when an appointment can be booked).
a) a connected calendar and
b) availability (working days and hours)In short: the traditional way works with free time.
This works perfectly for 1:1 appointments with potential customers. They can choose from many available times in my calendar.
But a monthly webinar takes place on a fixed date each month (say, every first Tuesday of the month from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.). Also, a monthly webinar is open to more than one customer (which is why I asked about the 1:n relationship).
At the moment, I’m having trouble setting up my calendar so that it only offers free times on the first Tuesday of each month from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., because as I understand it, that’s exactly what the meeting type requires.
The way I see it, we need the exact opposite. Instead of using free time slots based on the connection between a calendar and availability, we need fixed appointments so that the new meeting type can use the 1:n relationship. Am I right?
